Each door is purpose made to suit dimensions and requirements and is suitable for all types of industrial use where insulation to a value of 0.7W/m2k is required.
The shutter curtain is constructed from suitable interlocking, twin skin, galvanised steel lathes in-filled with polystyrene to give a ‘U’ value of 0.7W/m2k and running in galvanised steel side channels, mounted on mild steel support angles, which are bolted to the structure.
The curtain weight is counter balanced by helical wound springs, fitted inside a suitable steel tube barrel assembly at high level, running on steel bearings. The barrel assembly is supported between mild steel endplates and driven through gears. A rubber seal is provided to the bottom edge of the door and a nylon brush seal to the door head. All mild steel components are finished in one coat of black primer.
Manual Operation
The doors can be operated manually using a continuous galvanised haul chain, through single or double reduction gearing.
Electrical Operation
Electrical operation is by means of a high quality, three phase motor and gearbox, incorporating six integral limits. All controls are low voltage and have open and close emergency stop buttons as standard. Emergency manual override is provided as standard to allow operation of the door in case of power failure.
As optional extras the doors can have a plastisol or powder coated lathes internally or externally, galvanised steel coil casings, vision windows and a special electrical automation and safety devices.
